Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled GIS Executive with 35 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial data management, mapping, and geospatial analysis. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, validating, and maintaining GIS datasets and maps to support project requirements and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, update, and maintain GIS maps and spatial databases.
• Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data interpretation.
• Work with GIS software such as ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS.
• Collect, process, validate, and integrate spatial and non-spatial data.
• Perform digitization, georeferencing, map rectification, and coordinate system conversion.
• Manage geospatial data from GPS, satellite imagery, survey data, and other sources.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure GIS data accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare thematic maps, layouts, reports, and other GIS deliverables.
• Handle shapefiles, geodatabases, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, CAD files, and raster datasets.
• Coordinate with project teams, surveyors, and other stakeholders to meet project timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation, metadata, and data version control.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, Geology, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
• 35 years of hands-on experience in GIS mapping and spatial data processing.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, or QGIS.
• Good knowledge of spatial analysis, coordinate reference systems, projections, and geospatial data formats.
• Experience with GPS data processing, digitization, and georeferencing.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of remote sensing and satellite imagery processing.
• Basic understanding of SQL and spatial databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Familiarity with Python scripting or GIS automation.
• Experience with web GIS, Google Earth, or CAD integration.
