Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited in Karnataka is seeking a SCM professional to ensure timely availability of merchandise at the warehouse as per approved cost.

You will coordinate demand and supply, drive BCDS planning, oversee fabric replenishment, and manage vendor deliveries, with a focus on on-time stores stock and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in SCM and replenishment planning is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with planning, sourcing and logistics teams.
• Strong focus on timely deliveries and cost control.

Responsibilities

• KRA1: Prepare and update the BCDS plan weekly after demand input.
• KRA2: Ensure replenishment to warehouse aligns with plan and supplier deliveries.
• KRA3: Update fabric swatches trackers and coordinate with factories.
• KRA4: Engage with mills to improve GP through pricing and minimums.
• KRA5: Oversee fabric deliveries as per schedules and commitments.
• KRA6: Develop and enforce standardized processes across SCM functions.
• KRA7: mentor and manage team performance and training needs.

Job Purpose

To ensure on time availability of the merchandise at the warehouse as per the approved cost thereby ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Madura F&L is Indias leading apparel manufacturer and commands a leadership position in many of the product categories across brands. Van Heusen products are sold through a large network of EBOs and multi brand outlets. It is imperative that the products reach the stores on time to ensure that there is no loss of sales due to unavailability of stock.

The Key Challenges Are

• Changes in Demand and Supply mix
• Influencing and responding to changes in government fiscal policies
• Ensuring on time supplies to the customer/ stores

KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)

KRA1 Preparation of BCDS plan document

1. Understand customer demand status

• Prepare a draft BCDS plan post receipt from demand planner and present it to the Manager SCM for approval
• Track the changes in demand and accordingly balance supply mix
• Update the BCDS plan on a weekly basis and discuss with the Manager SCM for variances

KRA2 Replenishment of merchandise as per plan

1. Follow up with the Fabric Sourcing Team about pending delivery of fabrics and speak with respective mills for Pending Fabric deliveries which were due.

• Follow up with the factories to ensure the right replenishment reaches Warehouse

KRA3 Visual Tracker updating / Handing over fabrics swatches to factories

1. Assist the merchandiser in arranging fabrics for VM purpose (If necessary only)

• Season on season, handing over Trade show Fabrics swatches to factories for thread matching etc.
• Garment Over dye base fabric reference swatches to gather from product and handing over the same with factories for further action.
• Handing over to Engineering Design to factories for further action.

KRA4 Fabric suppliers management & product development

To enable better GP realizations by constantly working with mills to reduce fabric prices and minimums

To work closely with the PD team and mills to provide innovations, high quality fabrics for the customers

To ensure zero outstanding related liability in the market & get NDC¿s from suppliers on time

KRA5 Fabric Deliveries

To ensure timely deliveries of fabrics as per the committed delivery schedules

KRA6 Process creation and adherence

To make the brand a systematic, process driven business with well laid ¿ out processes and high standards of adherence

KRA7 Team Management

Set KRA¿s for team members, conduct periodic reviews of performance and provide feedback

Assess skill ¿ gaps, coach team members and ensure adequate training is provided for in line with needs

Identify non ¿ performers in the team and work out performance improvement plan in consultation with HR

Establish reward/ incentive schemes for team members and significantly distinguish ¿top¿ performers from others
