Job summary

Zentiva Ankleshwar site is seeking a Senior Executive - Supply Chain to oversee planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost control within the pharmaceutical operations.

The ideal candidate has a graduate degree with 4–6 years in supply chain for pharma/chemical/API sectors, proficient in SAP and MS Excel, and capable of coordinating cross‑functional teams to improve delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the supply chain, including inventory levels, demand forecasts, supplier performance, transportation costs, and production efficiency.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance product availability with carrying costs.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and overstock.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify potential sources of supply chain disruptions.
• Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and recommend improvements.
• Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Analyze distribution networks for efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor and report on cost variances and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify and assess risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance metrics to stakeholders
