Qualifications

• B.Tech. or higher in metallurgy/chemical with relevant experience.
• Experience in metallurgical experiments and plant trials.
• Knowledge of pyro processing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute experiments in the RD pilot plant.
• Perform metallurgical reaction balancing and process-related calculations.

Job Purpose (Why Job Exists)

The RD Executive - Process Metallurgy supports the development, optimization, and scale-up of metallurgical processes through structured experiments and plant trials. The role acts as a technical bridge between the RD leadership team and ground-level working personnel, ensuring clear communication, accurate execution of trials, and effective transfer of RD outcomes to production. This position contributes to improved efficiency, product quality, and operational reliability while minimizing technical risk and cost.

Key Result Area

Plan, design, and execute experiments in the RD pilot plant.

Perform metallurgical reaction balancing and process-related calculations.

Analyze, interpret, and manage experimental and plant trial data.

Demonstrate and explain plant trial procedures to production team.

Support plant trials, scale-up activities, and technology transfer to production.

Collect, analyze, and interpret operating data from plant trials.

Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Marketing, Procurement, and Maintenance teams.

Assist in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, reports, and records.

Conduct SOP and safety training for operating personnel in the RD pilot plant.
