Role Description

The Sr Executive Procurement will manage end-to-end procurement operations for agri-inputs and related materials, ensuring timely availability of quality supplies at optimal cost. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Greater Hyderabad Area and involves vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management aligned with company policies and quality standards. The role includes forecasting material requirements, coordinating with R&D, production, and supply chain teams, and maintaining accurate purchase records and documentation.

The position also requires building strong vendor relationships, resolving supply issues, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Educational Qualification

• - Graduate in any discipline; B.Com, B.Sc (Agriculture/Chemistry), or Diploma in Supply Chain / Materials Management preferred


• - Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in procurement/sourcing including vendor identification, negotiation, and contract management.


• Experience in supply chain coordination, inventory management, and demand forecasting, preferably in agriculture, chemicals, or manufacturing, fmcg


• Ability to analyze costs, compare quotations, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.


• Familiarity with procurement documentation, purchase orders, and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.


• Proficiency with MS Excel and procurement or ERP tools for tracking purchases, budgets, and supplier performance


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external vendors.


• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification in procurement/supply chain is an advantage.


• Prior experience in a procurement role at senior executive or similar level, with exposure to agri-inputs or allied sectors preferred.
