Job summary

ALS is seeking an Executive to join our Mumbai team to support IT operations in a pharmaceutical environment. You will install and configure systems, apply updates, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, and serve as the first point of contact for user requests, while maintaining asset inventory and ensuring GxP compliance.

With a Bachelor’s in computer science and 4+ years in IT and pharma, you’ll work across departments to keep critical systems secure and compliant, enabling reliable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science is required.
• Minimum 4 years in IT and pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems and business applications.
• Apply software updates, security patches, and antivirus definitions.
• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and printer errors.
• Fix network connectivity and internet access issues.
• Escalate complex problems to higher-level engineering teams.
• Serve as the first point of contact for user help requests via tickets, phone, or chat.
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of company hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all computer systems follow GxP (Good Practice Quality Guidelines) and FDA rules like 21 CFR Part 11 for electronic records.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and data integrity rules (ALCOA+)

Core Competencies

• Knowledge on pharmaceutical CSV validation assignments including implementation of new systems, re-validation of existing computerized systems
