Job summary

Saint-Gobain Group in India is seeking a proactive Production Planning professional to manage centralized production planning across OPC locations and hubs. You will coordinate with manufacturing sites, procurement, and logistics to ensure on-time production and optimal inventory levels.

Daily and weekly MIS on plan adherence, stock transfers, freight and export documentation will be routine. The role requires effective coordination with finance, logistics, and external partners to maintain

Responsibilities

• Central Production Planning
• Develop and maintain centralized production plans aligned with inventory norms
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure adherence to production schedules
• Review production performance and implement corrective actions to minimize shortages and excess inventory
• Weekly MIS on stock
• Production Planning for Assigned Locations
• Manage end-to-end production planning for OPC manufacturing locations & associated hubs
• Coordinate with toller for raw material availability and production execution
• Daily MIS on plan Vs actual production i.e. Production Plan Adherence (%)
• Supervise inter-plant, warehouse, and depot stock transfers
• Track stock transfer orders (STOs) and resolve operational bottlenecks
• MIS on Warehouse inventory on weekly basis
• Freight & Service Bill Processing
• Validate and process transport, freight, export, service, and fixed logistics bills
• Verify rates, supporting documents, and contractual compliance before booking
• Coordinate with finance and logistics partners for timely payment processing
• MIS on freight bills/ Service bills processing status
• Insurance Claim Management
• Handle insurance claims related to transit damages and inventory losses
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, insurers, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain claim documentation and ensure closure within agreed timelines
• MIS on Track recovery status and provide periodic claim reports
• Export Billing & Documentation
• Manage end-to-end export billing and shipment documentation
• Coordinate preparation and verification of invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, e-way bills, and related documents
• Liaise with CHA, freight forwarders, and internal teams for smooth export execution
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer documentation requirements
• MIS on Export status
