Job summary

Motherson is seeking a skilled logistics and quality professional in India to drive 5S/5T, manage finished goods inventory, and optimize material flow. The role focuses on packaging and call-off processes, perpetual inventory analysis, and adherence to FIFO, Andon escalation, and IATF/ISO guidelines.

You will work within our Modules and Polymer division to ensure timely deliveries and continuous improvement across internal and external flows.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Automobile, Production or Mechanical engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of 5S and 5T methodologies.
• Experience with WCL material feeding and standard call off.
• Inventory management of finished goods.
• Knowledge of VSM and continuous improvement.
• Andon escalation and NC/CAPA handling.
• Familiar with IATF and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 5S audits and ensure ownership across areas.
• Perform 5T verification.
• Oversee packaging material feeding in WCL method and standard call off.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels of finished goods.
• Carry out perpetual inventory analysis.
• Reduce non-value-added work for dispatch and packaging.
• Optimize storage space usage.
• Monitor and minimize overflow in finished goods.
• Enforce FIFO adherence.
• Improve internal and external flows.
• Handle Andon escalations.
• Follow IATF/ISO procedures in day-to-day work (NC, CAPA, Andon).
• Ensure 100% delivery rating to customers.
• Drive quality circle initiatives.
