Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chennai is seeking a seasoned automotive electronics engineer specializing in infotainment, connectivity and system integration. You will own HW/SW delivery for infotainment clusters and coordinate across internal teams and suppliers to meet project milestones.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive infotainment, CAN and diagnostics, HW interfacing, and awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• BE or ME in an engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years in automotive infotainment/cluster domain.
• Experience with hardware interfacing in infotainment systems.
• Knowledge of CAN and diagnostics.
• Awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity.
• Understanding AA/CP certifications and interoperability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead infotainment, connectivity, and system integration delivery (HW/SW).
• Collaborate with CFT and suppliers to complete the TSO and align timelines.
• Prepare SORs/SRDs and obtain supplier sign-off.
• Prepare SW/HW interfacing specifications.
• Participate in vehicle and bench testing.
• Identify root cause analysis for defects from testing stakeholders.
• Manage defects raised in the system.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Infotainment ,Connectivity , system integration and responsible for the system delivery (HW,SW)
• 2. Colloborate with the CFT and Suppiers to complete the TSO , Timeline alignment.
• 3. Prepare the SORs and SRDs and singoff with the supplier.
• 4. Prepare the SW and HW interfacing specification
• 5. Participates in vehicle testing , bench testing
• 6. Identifies the RCA for the reported defects from various testing stakeholders
• 7. Manages the defects raised in the system

Experience

• 3-5 years in automotive industruy in the area of Cluster, infotainment , Connectivity
• Understand the hardware & Pheripherals interfacing in Infotainment system like (Display, USB, Audio)
• Good working understanding with CAN, Diagnotics
• Awareness about Functional safety and cyber security
• Good knowledge about the AA, CP certifications and Interopeartability testing.
• Good understanding and knowledge about the HW interfacing.
