Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chennai is seeking a testing professional to manage Android Auto, CarPlay, and Alexa certifications from OEM to product launch. You will craft test cases for Infotainment/Cluster/Connectivity/Apps/AR‑HUD and own complete test cycles for Android Auto and CarPlay.

You will work with Apple, Google and 3PL partners to clarify requirements and stay aligned with evolving specs, ensuring robust integration with infotainment hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Write test cases for Infotainment/Cluster/Connectivity/Apps/AR-HUD.
• Understand system requirements for infotainment domains.
• Own full test cycle for Android Auto and CarPlay testing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to product launch.
• Write tests and verify system requirements for Infotainment/Cluster/Connectivity/Apps/AR‑HUD.
• Manage full test cycle for Android Auto and CarPlay testing.
• Understand MFI Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto portals.
• Analyze new Android Auto/CarPlay specs for hardware/software changes.
• Test monitoring, reporting, defect tracking and support activities.
• Interact with 3PL, Apple and Google for clarifications.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• 1. Responsible for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Alexa Certification from OEM to Launch of Product.
• 2. Shall able to understand the system requirement for Infotainment / Cluster/ Connectivity / Apps/AR-HUD and Write the Test case for testing.
• 3. Responsible for Full Test Cycle for Android Auto Testing and CarPlay Testing
• 4. Fully Understanding on the MFI Apple CarPlay, Alexa and Google Android Auto Portals
• 5. Responsible on analyzing the New Requirements of Android Auto/ CarPlay Latest Spec to understand the Hardware and Software changes in the System.
• 6.Test monitoring and reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions
• 7. Interaction with 3PL, Apple, Google on the Requirements Clarifications.

Experience

2-3 yrs.

Industry Preferred

Preferably Automotive and Tier 1 who supplies Infotainment system
