Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ, take-offs, estimates, and cost plans for civil works.
• Review RA bills, interim payments, final bills; verify quantities.
• Conduct joint measurements and verify site quantities.
• Monitor project cost, budget, variations, and expenditures.
• Review variation orders, extra items, and rate analysis.
• Prepare rate analyses for added/deviation items.
• Assist in tendering, BOQ prep, bid evaluation, and commercial comparison.
• Review contractor claims and EOT submissions.
• Maintain records of quantities, payments, variations, and correspondence.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction, Design, Contracts, QA/QC, and client teams.
• Ensure payments align with progress and contracts.
• Identify cost overruns and commercial risks; support corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly cost and commercial reports.

Senior Engineer – Quantity Surveying (QS – Civil) with around 10 years of experience in civil construction projects, preferably with PMC/consultancy experience. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, cost control, measurement, billing, contract administration, and commercial management of the project.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, estimates, and cost plans for civil works.
• Review contractor RA Bills, interim payment applications, and final bills and verify quantities against approved drawings and site measurements.
• Conduct joint measurements and verify executed quantities at site.
• Monitor project cost, budget, variations, and expenditure against approved estimates.
• Review and evaluate variation orders, extra items, deviation statements, and rate analysis.
• Prepare and review rate analysis for additional/deviation items.
• Assist in tendering and procurement, including BOQ preparation, bid evaluation, and commercial comparison.
• Review contractor claims, EOT-related commercial submissions, escalation claims, and other contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, measurements, payments, variations, and commercial correspondence.
• Coordinate with Project Director, Construction, Planning, Design, Contracts, QA/QC, and client teams for commercial and quantity-related matters.
• Ensure that payments are processed based on actual site progress and contractual terms.
• Identify potential cost overruns and commercial risks and support corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, commercial reports, and quantity/progress statements for management/client review.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract conditions, approved drawings, and PMC procedures.
• Support contract administration and close-out, including reconciliation and final account settlement.
