Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited invites applications for Plant Engineering - Engineer at our Gujarat site. The role focuses on safe work execution, adherence to drawings and procedures, and efficient coordination with logistics, vendors and internal departments.

You will prepare PPOs and D'note, manage material requests, ensure timely vendor finalization, and handle site permits and safety analyses to support CAPEX handovers and asset validation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work execution under strict safety norms
• Understand production/integration drawings and give related instruction to workmen
• Ensure production according to Drawing & Procedures
• PPO creation
• D'note preparation
• Material transport request creation & co-ordination with Logistics
• Vendor finalization w.r.t time, cost, warranty
• Vendor facilitation
• Gate pass preparation
• Site work permits
• Co-ordination with Use dept, EHS
• Scaffolding arrangement as per site req.
• Work permits, i.e. Working at height, Hot work facilitate to vendor
• Preparation of HEERA, Job Safety Analysis, Management of Change document preparation
• Work execution and CAPEX handover to User dept.
• Item capitalization
• Physical assets verification and update to F&A
• Coordination with Central services team for civil and office furniture related work
