Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Chennai, India seeks an experienced P&ID Designer to draft and QC P&ID diagrams using SmartPlant P&ID or Aveva PID. You will create vendor P&IDs, incorporate as-built mark-ups, and apply rigorous process engineering knowledge.

The role requires familiarity with ISO/DIN legends, and proficiency in plot QC and intelligent QC as per client standards, with ability to extract and check database reports and work independently.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SmartPlant P&ID or Aveva PID drafting and quality checks.
• Good understanding of drafting standards and quality processes.
• Experience creating vendor P&IDs with as-built mark-ups.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and design.
• Familiar with ISO and DIN legends and symbols.
• Experience in plot QC and intelligent QC as per client standards.
• Ability to extract reports from databases and verify them.
• Basic admin knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Work with SmartPlant P&ID or Aveva PID applications to draft and review P&IDs.
• Ensure drafting quality checks are performed per standards.
• Create vendor P&IDs with as-built mark-ups.
• Apply process engineering and design knowledge to projects.
• Utilize ISO/DIN legends and symbols accurately.
• Perform plot QC and intelligent QC per client requirements.
• Extract and verify reports from databases.
• Maintain basic administrative duties.
• Operate independently on assigned tasks.
