Job summary

Asian Paints in Visakhapatnam is seeking an Executive – Plant Engineering to oversee civil maintenance activities within the Plant Engineering department, focusing on timely completion, strict adherence to scope, budgets, drawings and specifications, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, verify quantities, document progress, and ensure right-first-time execution with timely closure of observations in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of assigned civil maintenance activities and CAPEX milestones according to schedule.
• Closure of civil maintenance complaints and identified infrastructure issues within agreed timelines.
• Adherence to approved scope, BOQ, budget, drawings and technical specifications.
• Compliance with statutory requirements and APL quality and EHS systems, with no major safety or quality deviations.
• Right-first-time execution with minimum rework and timely closure of quality observations.
• Accuracy of quantity estimates, joint measurements, executed-quantity verification and contractor bill-support documentation.
