Job summary

SAI Life Sciences in Hyderabad is seeking a project engineering professional to drive basic and detailed engineering, erection, testing and commissioning activities. You will prepare and review project proposals and budgets for approvals and coordinate with technology suppliers across civil, mechanical, process and E&I.

The role involves evaluating supplier documents, preparing URS/TBA, evolving engineering documents, and generating BOQs from isometrics.

Qualifications

• Experience in project basic and detailed engineering including erection, testing and commissioning.
• Preparation and review of new project proposals and budgets with management in order to obtain approval for new projects.
• Coordination with Technology suppliers in all aspects such as civil, mechanical, Process and E&I.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Evaluation of documents submitted by Technology suppliers Including Civil Layouts, Architectural, Structural drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, GA drawings etc.
• Review & approval of engineering documents with team members and coordinating between suppliers and Site Team Preparation of URS, TBA & Evolution of Engineering Documents by Inviting technical bids, comparing and evaluating the technical bids.
• Evolution of PID and estimating BOQs based on Isometric drawings.
• Regular follow-up on PO allocation, material procurement and ensuring material reach to the site as per aligned project schedule.
• Preparation of Project schedules and Project Budgets like CAPEX, OPEX and ROI budget as per project requirements.
• Supporting inter departments on regular project progress report (S-Curve) preparation and submitting to bank as required.
• Coordination on getting necessary statutory approvals from various regulatory bodies.
• Organizing technical evaluation and Project review meetings to ensure smooth progress of the project Tracking the project schedules and work progress at the site.
• Project progress update to management on regular basis, handling and maintaining of project document archives, including as Built Drawings (Initiated).
