Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Sr. Engineer - DevOps to build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and bridge development with IT operations.

You will manage build infrastructure on Windows and Linux, improve reliability, and lead release processes for QA to production. Collaborate across engineering, QA, and operations, implement IaC and security best practices, and mentor junior team members while staying current with industry trends and tools such as Kubernetes, Docker,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing DevOps in large-scale environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Proficiency with cloud automation and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Manage the configuration of the build infrastructure (Windows and Linux)
• Improve reliability and performance of test and build processes
• Design and maintain automated release channels
• Automate installation and upkeep of build tools and dependencies
• Review and recommend solutions to improve the software development process
• Own the process for releasing builds into QA and up to production
• Managing pre/post release code merges
• Managing the code branching strategies
• Bridge between Engineering (dev & QA) and IT Operations
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; Automate software deployment processes; Monitor system performance; Collaborate with development and operations teams; Troubleshoot deployments; Implement IaC; Stay updated on industry trends; Mentor junior team members
