Job summary

Miju Components seeks an experienced Mould Design Engineer in Maharashtra to lead new mold concepts, BOM finalization, and production planning. The role demands strong CAD skills, hands-on tooling experience, and leadership to guide a team through prototype and multi-cavity mold trials.

The incumbent will monitor maintenance, tool rectification, and jig/fixture design to boost productivity, while assisting in new product development and monthly MIS reporting. Engineering diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Design knowledge is required.
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience in designing new molds and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mold concepts.
• Plan mold manufacturing (design, machining, assembly).
• Finalize BOM for new molds.
• Guide and supervise subordinate staff.
• Monitor mold trials (proto & multi-cavity).
• Oversee preventive & breakdown mold maintenance.
• Monitor tool rectification and jig/fixture design.
• Prepare mold tooling cost estimates.
• Prepare monthly MIS data.
• Improve yield, cycle time, tool life.

Role & responsibilities

Note : Candidates from rubber industries and Pass out from CIPET & Indo German Tool Room Institute are preferred.

Design Knowledge is must

• To work on new mold design concept.
• Hands-on experience on Solid Work Software
• Planning new mould manufacturing . (design + machining +assembly )
• To finalize bill of material for new mold.
• To assist & guide subordinate staff for their activity.
• To monitor new (proto + Multi cavity) mold trail.
• To guide preventive & breakdown mold maintenance.
• Monitoring of tool rectification activities.
• Monitoring of jigs & fixture design activity to increase the productivity.
• Monitoring offloading tool room job work.
• To prepare of new mold tooling cost.
• To prepare monthly MIS data.
• Implementing new die design concepts for improvement in yield, cycle time, quality and greater Tool life
• Assist Plant Head in identifying and work on New product development
• Analyzing and Developing Annual, Quarterly, monthly plan
• Responsible to develop and execute Production Plan and ensuring production at optimum capacity.
• Rejection control and resolve daily production problem
