Job summary

East India Technologies in Greater Noida seeks a Toolroom Engineer / Toolroom In-Charge to set up and manage a new toolroom, oversee CNC/VMC operations, and ensure high-quality moulds. The role involves design, development, and maintenance of plastic injection moulds with CAD/CAM tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or UG NX.

Candidates should have 5–8 years of toolroom experience, preferably from plastic injection moulding companies, with strong problem-solving and team-management skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in toolroom operations.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage day-to-day operations of the new toolroom.
• Handle tool design, development, and modification for plastic injection moulds.
• Operate and supervise CNC and VMC machines, including programming and machining activities.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, mould designs, and technical specifications.
• Perform mould assembly, fitting, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality through precision measuring instruments.
• Coordinate machining processes, job allocation, and timely completion of toolroom activities.
• Identify mould defects and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain tools, machines, equipment, and toolroom records.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth mould trials and production readiness.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

• Salary Budget: 40,000–50,000 per month.
