Job summary

Vertiv Global Engineering Centre in Pune is seeking an experienced BIM MEPF Lead to coordinate BIM efforts across project teams and ensure BEP compliance, Vertiv standards and proper data exchange using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.

You will train new members, maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, and develop BIM tools/templates for data centers and Vertiv products, delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
• 6-8 years of experience in BIM modeling using Revit.
• Proficient in implementing BIM requirements: families, floor plans, 3D modelling, MEP services, clash detection, schedules, BOQ, coordination.
• Design & domain knowledge of MEP engineering systems for data centers (preferred).
• Strong understanding of BIM principles and practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit in MEP, Navisworks and other BIM tools.
• Dynamo scripting & APIs to create custom tools/workflows.
• Creation of parametric and non-parametric families.
• Develop plans, sections, elevations from a 3D BIM model; manage large sheets sets.

Vertiv Global Engineering Centre, Pune is looking for dynamic and experienced BIM MEPF Lead with well-versed in basic coordination with all trades to work closely in with BIM Manager.
BIM - Senior Engineer is responsible for coordinating the BIM efforts of all project teams at Vertiv. This includes ensuring that all members of the team are following BEP, Vertiv standards and process, adhering to the model standards set with right software, exchanging of data regularly.

In addition to these duties the Senior engineer-BIM is also responsible for training new members on BIM process, Maintaining BIM models throughout project life cycle and developing BIM tools and templates on Revit. Family/Content Creation using the Revit tool for the Data Centers and other Vertiv Products. He/ she will be responsible for delivering quality deliverables as per the organization’s standards. Work closely with different LoB’s and stakeholders to meet deadlines. He should ensure all team related timesheet, quality plan, project updates on time.

Job Specifications:

• Proficiency in Dynamo Scripting & APIs to create custom tools and workflows that address specific project needs is required.
• Creation of Parametric and non-parametric families
• Develop plans, sections, elevations, and details from a 3D BIM model for projects of all sizes and technical complexities.
• Setup and manage large sheets set including revisions and markups for each project. Plot drawings to pdf & dwg.
• Knowledge of COBie implementation and 4D to 7D deliverable at LOD 350.
• Supervise and contribute to create Revit content/families (Parametric) and oversee maintenance of family libraries according to relevant projects and Vertiv Products.
• Review, estimate and give inputs into delivery schedules and level of efforts required to produce deliverables.
• Collaborate with BIM managers and project managers to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and objectives.
• Create and maintain all BIM documentation not limited to BEP, MOM, LOD matrix.
• Train, mentor and troubleshoot CAD & Revit modeling, Navisworks queries.
• Create and maintain quality checks and follow standards for project and revit content delivers.
