Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Senior Engineer - Application Support to provide advanced technical support for troubleshooting and resolving application incidents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime, and perform routine maintenance like monitoring performance, applying patches, and upgrading software versions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/EC/IT or an MS in Software Engineering, and Splunk certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or Masters in Software Engineering.
• Splunk Certified User certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Agile Methodology and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for troubleshooting and resolving application incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
• Perform regular application maintenance tasks, monitor performance, apply patches, and upgrade software versions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support future troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in the implementation of new applications including testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
