Job summary

EMS Technologies Pvt Lts in Pirangut, Maharashtra, seeks a skilled technician to test and debug control panels for industrial machines and to work with PLC systems, including program uploads and basic troubleshooting.

You will apply electrical engineering principles, handle PLCs, VFDs, motors, MCC panels, and prepare EPLAN drawings, wire/assemble panels, and supervise technicians on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous improvement feedback for processes and product quality.

• Perform testing and debugging of control panels for industrial machines.
• Work with PLC systems, including program uploading, downloading, and basic troubleshooting.
• Apply knowledge of industrial automation systems and electrical engineering principles.
• Handle electrical components such as PLCs, VFDs, motors, starters, MCC panels, and prepare/understand EPLAN electrical drawings.
• Execute PLC panel wiring and relay logic (hardwired) panel wiring.
• Manage plant and production-related activities efficiently.
• Support Production Planning & Control (PPC) activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards during panel assembly and testing.
• Supervise technicians/workers for control panel wiring and assembly.
• Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate and arrange materials on the shop floor as per work orders.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback for processes and product quality.
• Maintain good understanding of machines and manufacturing processes.
• Sound knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
