Job summary

InOpTra Digital in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 7-12 years of experience in life sciences, manufacturing, food & beverage, or data centers to lead electrical design and related systems on complex projects.

You will ensure NEC/NFPA/IBC code compliance, perform design calculations and energy modeling, and coordinate BIM workflows using Revit/AutoCAD, ment or junior engineers and liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 7–12 years of experience in electrical systems design

Responsibilities

• Proven expertise in electrical systems design, including lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, IBC, and client-specific requirements.
• Perform and review design calculations, energy code compliance assessments, and system performance modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows, with experience leading model integration and clash detection.
• Advanced proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for system analysis, cost modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead client discussions, present technical concepts, and coordinate across disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to strategic planning and quality assurance.
