Job summary

Aedium Design is seeking an Electrical CAD Engineer in Bangalore to design detailed electrical drawings for lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems. You will use AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD tools to create accurate schematics, layouts, and documentation for large-scale projects.

You will collaborate with electrical engineers to develop concepts, revise drawings per feedback, and ensure compliance with national and international standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of Dialux for lighting calculations.
• Experience handling large scale corporate/residential/commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for lighting, fire alarm, ELV systems, and other electrical components using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
• Assist electrical engineers in developing design concepts and layouts in compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and standards.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, well-organized, and meet company and industry standards.
• Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to avoid design conflicts in MEP systems.
• Maintain and manage drawing databases, templates, and document control procedures.
• Support BIM workflows, if applicable.
• Ensure that all electrical drafting work complies with local codes and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).
