Sr. Electrical Engineer/ Electrical Design Engineer

Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra
Experience: 5-7 Years

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for infrastructure and building projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical design drawings, load calculations, specifications, and BOQs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. He should well verse in working with government authorities.

• Comprehensive understanding of local and international design standards, codes, and local authority requirements.
• Design of electrical systems including internal and external lighting, power distribution, LT panels, earthing, lightning protection, and backup power systems.
• Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring layouts, and equipment sizing based on project requirements.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, documentation, and records of project activities.
• Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders for approvals and follow-ups.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, power distribution, and relevant codes and standards.
• Experience in a consulting environment or similar role is often beneficial.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

• AutoCAD knowledge for reviewing drawings with basic drafting skills.
• Proficiency in electrical software such as Dialux, ETAP, and other MEP tools.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
