Job summary

Standard C2C Engineering Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai invites an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.

You will prepare SLDs, layouts, substation plans, and perform design calculations for sizing transformers, DG sets, cables, and lighting, ensuring compliance with electrical standards. You should have 3+ years' experience in an engineering consulting environment, strong skills in AutoCAD 2D, Dialux, and MS Office, and the ability to manage projects independently while coordinating

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer from an Engineering Consulting Company.
• B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of SLDs.
• Preparation of Layouts for Lighting, Cable tray, Earthing, Lightning protection.
• Preparation of Substation Layouts.
• Preparation of Design calculations like Transformer & DG set sizing, Fault level, Cable sizing, Lighting, Earthing, etc.
• Preparation of Technical Specifications and Datasheets.
• Extraction of BOQs and SOQ
• Review and approval of Vendor submittals.
• Ability to handle the project individually.
• Ability to review, analyse and understand the Project requirements and provide input to subordinates.
• Checking of the generated deliverables and co-ordination with other departments.
• Should be able to handle internal and client review meetings.
• Possessing good knowledge on Electrical Standards and should be able to relate to its effect on the Process.
• Experience using AutoCAD 2D, Dialux and MS Office
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
