DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Director, Supply Chain and R&D Technology. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. This is a senior leader accountable for the strategy, delivery, and operation of technology capabilities supporting the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain and R&D functions, with a significant base of capability delivered from the Bangalore Global Capability Center. This role leads managers and senior managers across multiple technology teams and is accountable for organizational design, talent strategy, performance management, and leadership development. The Sr. Director sets the multi-year technology roadmap for the teams in the GCC that support planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and R&D systems; owns the associated portfolio and budget; and serves as the senior point of coordination between the GCC and onshore business and technology leadership - ensuring the GCC augments global functions with high-quality capacity, clear governance, and measurable delivery outcomes. The role partners at the executive level with Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Technology leadership to align investment with business strategy and to deliver technology capability through a complex separation and standalone stand-up.
