Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Developer - Application Development N to design and implement Workday HCM integrations, reports, and data transformations.

You will build inbound/outbound interfaces using EIB, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, and ensure secure access through ISU and security groups. You will collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical designs and produce deployment documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in computer-related field with strong Workday exposure.
• Professional certifications listed in the qualifications section are preferred.
• Experience with integration technologies and testing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday HCM integrations.
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations using EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Create and maintain Workday reports: Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Calculated Fields.
• Build integration transformations using XML and XSLT.
• Configure integration security including ISU and security groups.
• Handle Workday data loads, transformation, validation using EIB and tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Create technical design docs, specs, mapping, and deployment docs.
• Integrate Workday with payroll, benefits, IAM, ERP, recruiting systems.
• Perform testing and deployment validation; troubleshoot issues; monitor SLAs.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday HCM integrations.
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations using: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Workday Studio Core Connectors Cloud Connect Workday Web Services REST/SOAP APIs.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, including: Advanced Reports Matrix Reports Composite Reports Custom Reports Calculated Fields.
• Build integration transformations using technologies such as XML and XSLT.
• Configure and maintain integration-related security, including Integration System Users (ISU) and security groups.
• Perform Workday data loads, data extraction, transformation, and validation using EIB and other Workday tools.
• Work with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Create technical design documents, integration specifications, mapping documents, and deployment documentation.
• Develop integrations between Workday and external systems such as: Payroll systems Benefits providers Identity and access management systems Finance/ERP platforms Recruiting platforms Third-party HR applications.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and deployment validation.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, reporting issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents.
• Monitor scheduled integrations and resolve integration errors within agreed SLAs.
• Support Workday implementation, enhancement, migration, and production-support activities.
• Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and implement required technical changes.
• Follow Workday development standards, security requirements, and change-management processes.
