Job summary

SiFive is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Design Verification Infrastructure team to architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform build system. The role involves shaping a scalable common infrastructure across Design Verification and other teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of scripting experience, familiarity with Wake or functional languages, and understanding of hermetic build systems like Bazel or Buck, plus exposure to EDA tools used in verification workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in a scripting language.
• Experience with Wake or functional programming languages (desired).

Join SiFive’s Design Verification Infrastructure team to develop and maintain the Verification Platform build system used across SiFive. An ideal candidate will have experience architecting complex build systems for large software organizations. You will be expected to collaborate with multiple teams to shape the build system for Design Verification and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform build system to provide a common infrastructure that scales with the growth of SiFive for Design Verification and other verification and validation activities.
• Develop Verification Platform tools, build flows, and methodologies to support end-to-end flows used by Design Verification and other verification and validation teams.
• Develop Verification Platform build recipes in the Wake language.
• Educate the Design Verification and other verification and validation teams on best practices and how to achieve them with the Verification Platform.

Requirements

• Build system architecture, development, and maintenance in a production environment.
• Software engineering with 5+ years of experience in at least one scripting language.
• Experience with Wake or functional programming languages (desired).
• Understanding of hermetic build systems like Bazel, Buck, etc.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and flows for Design Verification.
