Job summary

SiFive India Private Limited is seeking a Design Verification Engineer in Bengaluru to develop and maintain the Verification Platform and its libraries, VIPs, AIPs, and testbench components. Overview

The Design Verification Infrastructure team builds a scalable Verification Platform that supports design verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Description

As a Design Verification Engineer, you will develop and maintain the Verification Platform and its libraries, VIPs, AIPs, and other testbench components. You will collaborate with design teams to create reusable test infrastructure, provide best-practice guidance, and ensure high-quality delivery of verification assets.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform to provide a common infrastructure that scales with SiFive’s growth for design verification and other verification and validation activities.
• Develop Verification Platform libraries for expressing verification intent in Scala with Chisel, including test harnesses, stimulus, scoreboards, and other generators.
• Develop VIPs, AIPs, and other testbench components using SystemVerilog, UVM, and related technologies.
• Create test plans and testbenches to verify and release testbench components with high quality.
• Educate verification teams on best practices and how to achieve them using the Verification Platform.

Qualifications

• Design verification experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience designing and verifying VIPs, AIPs, and other testbench components.
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices.
• Typical 3+ years of experience and a BS/MS/PhD in EE, CE, CS or a related field.
• Desired: Experience with Chisel, Scala, and/or Python.
• Understanding of EDA tools and flows for design verification.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, build systems, and CI/CD.
