Job summary

KSL Cleantech Limited is seeking a Pre-Sales Design Manager to lead the design, costing, and proposal process for solar PV projects. You will develop layouts in SketchUp, run PVSYST simulations, and ensure designs meet site conditions and client needs.

The role requires engagement with clients, clear technical proposals, and coordination with execution teams to ensure seamless project handover. A B.Tech/BE in Electrical engineering is preferred, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE in Electrical or related engineering field required.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and PVSYST for solar PV design and simulation.
• Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts as applied to PV systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales design for solar PV projects, including layouts and reports.

About the Role

The Pre-Sales Design Manager will be responsible for leading the pre-sales design function for solar PV projects. The role focuses on system design, costing, and proposal preparation, along with client interaction to provide effective and optimized technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Design
  • Prepare solar PV system designs using SketchUp and develop layout drawings.
  • Perform PVSYST simulations and generate reports for system performance.
  • Ensure all designs are optimized based on site conditions and client requirements.
• Costing & Proposal Preparation
  • Prepare accurate costing sheets for solar PV systems.
  • Develop clear and professional technical proposals for clients.
  • Ensure alignment between design, costing, and client expectations.
• Client Interaction
  • Attend client meetings to understand requirements and present technical solutions.
  • Address client queries and provide necessary technical clarifications.
• Design Review & Coordination
  • Review designs and costing for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with execution teams for smooth project handover.
