Job summary

SG Oasis in Jamnagar, Gujarat is seeking an experienced Sr. CNC Programmer - Manual Programming to join our manufacturing team.

You will read drawings, develop initial programs for new components, and work closely with production, quality and tooling teams. The ideal candidate has 8 to 15 years of hands-on CNC programming experience, with strong knowledge of G-code/M-code, tool selection, and precision machining of brass, aluminum, SS, and other alloys.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8–15 years of CNC programming experience preferred.
• Experience in manual CNC programming is essential.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code, tool selection, and machining practices.

Responsibilities

• Drawing Reading: Understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• New Product Development (NPD): Check machine feasibility and develop initial programs for new components.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual CNC programming.
• Good knowledge of CNC turning / machining processes.
• Good understanding of Tool selection, cutting tools, inserts, speeds & feeds.
• Experience working with precision components and tight tolerances.
• Exposure to materials such as Brass, Aluminum, SS, MS/Carbon Steel and Copper alloys will be relevant to the business.
• Should be comfortable working closely with Production, Quality and Tooling teams.
• Candidates with experience in precision turned components / OEM component manufacturing preferred.
• Process Improvement, Implement error-prevention methods (Poka-Yoke) to improve quality and efficiency.
