KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks a Design Supervisor to lead piping design activities in onshore and offshore projects, ensuring integrity while managing execution. You will develop unit plot plans, layout optimization, and review vendor packages.

The ideal candidate is senior with 15–25 years' experience in piping design, proficient in S3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and MS Office, and capable of mentoring junior designers in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of S3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Strong understanding of piping design for onshore/offshore projects.
• Experience in LNG/Ammonia/Refinery/FPSO adds value.
• Proven ability to guide junior designers.
• Excellent communication and layout optimization skills.
• 15–25 years of experience in above skills and responsibilities.

KBR is looking for Design Supervisor who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore/Offshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts
• Layout optimisation study
• Preparation of MTO
• Review of Vendor package

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical
• Excellent knowledge in S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.
• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts
• Good Knowledge of support selection and modelling. Special support drawing creation is preferable
• Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs
• Excellent skill to guide young designers
• Good knowledge in conceptual layout study
• Good Communication skills
• 15 - 25 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities
• Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage
• Experience in LNG/Ammonia/ Refinery/FPSO will be considered an added advantage
