Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Design Supervisor- Sr. Checker to lead piping design work for onshore and offshore projects. The role emphasizes maintaining piping design integrity while overseeing execution and guiding junior designers.

Ideal candidates have 15–25 years of experience, a Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical, and strong skills in S3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. LNG/Ammonia/Refinery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• Excellent knowledge in S3D, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Good understanding of mechanical handling concepts.
• Experience with conceptual layout studies and support selection.
• Knowledge of ISO checking and back drafting to support ISO team.

Responsibilities

KBR is looking for Design Supervisor who possess experience in working within the piping design team on onshore/Offshore projects and ensuring piping design integrity is not compromised while managing the execution of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop unit plot plans/equipment layouts


• Layout optimisation study


• Preparation of MTO


• Review of Vendor package

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Candidate should be a Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical


• Excellent knowledge in S3D, MS Office, AutoCAD & MicroStation.


• Good knowledge in mechanical handling concepts


• Good Knowledge of support selection and modelling. Special support drawing creation is preferable


• Good knowledge in ISO checking and back drafting and support ISO team on project needs


• Excellent skill to guide young designers


• Good knowledge in conceptual layout study


• Good Communication skills


• 15 - 25 years of experience in above skills & responsibilities


• Knowledge in PML macros development will be considered an added advantage


• Experience in LNG/Ammonia/ Refinery/FPSO will be considered an added advantage
