Primary Function of Position

The Senior Business Analyst will possess both technical and functional understanding of business processes. They will be a key person in implementing business process software solutions and systems. The role involves being a systems solution expert, responsible for identifying, analyzing, refining, translating, and documenting business requirements from ISI business teams.

Essential Job Duties

1. Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis as required, and provide ISI business teams with cost-efficient proposals on inefficiencies and risks to determine appropriate process and system design.
2. Create functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
3. Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
4. Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing.
5. Support ISI’s production processes and related business systems functions.
6. Work with ISI IT and business teams to optimize and streamline processes and technical solutions.
7. Identify gaps between current and future states of business processes and prioritize opportunities for improvement using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
8. Lead and facilitate business user meetings to gather process information for sound system solutions.
9. Collaborate with and provide input to the development team during the development phase to meet business needs.
10. Assist business teams with reporting requirements, working with the reporting team and data warehouse team.
11. Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
12. Support, assist, and train users on new or modified system configurations, highlighting impacts on business processes.
13. Maintain IT business system integrity, including application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
14. Work closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered.
15. Follow the change management process and analyze the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.
16. Act as a Senior BA, guiding and mentoring team members, providing peer reviews, and advising on areas of improvement.
