Job summary

Awign in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for SAP CoE SD to drive end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD implementations and support across global regions.

You will combine strong functional expertise in order-to-cash processes with experience in SAP integrations (SFDC) and tax solutions, while guiding workshops, documentation, testing, and end-user training in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA SD experience with configuration and enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes and cross-functional integration.
• Experience in global SAP implementations across multiple regions.
• Experience integrating SAP SD with Salesforce and tax solutions.
• Familiarity with end-user training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end SAP Finance and S/4HANA SD support and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into system solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP SD per standards and objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and gather requirements with stakeholders.
• Create functional documentation and support full-cycle testing.
• Support reporting and data requirements; develop queries.
• Train and mentor SAP Super Users and Leads.
• Resolve incidents per SLAs and coordinate with technical teams.
• Participate in deployments, post-production support, and upgrades.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst, SAP CoE SD

Skills and Competencies

Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in SAP S/4 HANA SD module includingconfiguration, customization and enhancement.

Strong functional expertise of order‑to‑cash business processeswith cross functional integration knowledge and Customer Billing, CreditManagement.

Experience with global SAP implementationsincluding regions such as US, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.

Experience in SAP integrations(inbound/outbound) with Salesforce (SFDC)

Expertise in SAP SD integration withVertex orsimilar tax solutions fortax determination and calculation.

Practical experience in designing, customizing, andtroubleshootingGlobal Invoice Templates,including formbuilding using tools like Adobe Forms or SmartForms.

Preferred: Knowledge of ABAP and debugging skills; experience indeveloping and conducting end-user training.

Responsibilities

Support SAP Finance and SD Functions : Provide end‑to‑endsupport for SAP Finance and S/4HANA SD modules, includingtroubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and enhancements to meet businessneeds.

Business Process Analysis & Solutioning : Conduct detailedanalysis of complex business requirements, translate them into systemsolutions, and identify opportunities for process improvements and systemenhancements.

Configuration & Customization : Perform hands‑onconfiguration and customization of SAP S/4HANA SD module; design,structure, and implement solutions aligned with internal standards and businessobjectives.

Workshops & Requirement Gathering : Facilitate workshops andcollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate businessrequirements, ensuring accurate documentation and mapping to systemfunctionalities.

Functional Documentation & Testing : Create and maintainfunctional design documents, test cases, and test results; support full‑cycletesting activities and address any identified issues or gaps.

Reporting & Query Development : Support reporting anddata needs by defining specifications, coordinating report/query development,conducting testing, and ensuring data integrity.

Training & User Support: Train, coach, and mentor SAP Super Users,Business Process Owners, and Leads; provide guidance to junior staff on userissues and project‑related activities.

Incident & Request Resolution : Resolve service requesttickets in line with SLAs and act as a liaison between the business andtechnical teams for issue analysis and resolution.

Deployment & Post‑Production Support: Support thedeployment of production applications, manage post‑go‑live activities, andcontribute to successful cutovers and system transitions.

Project & Upgrade Participation: Actively participatein system upgrades, enhancements, and project implementations as required,including scoping, estimation, and application support.
