Job summary

Base Automation in Chennai, India is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to drive requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvements across multiple domains.

You will partner with stakeholders and development teams to align business goals with technical solutions, manage BRD/FRD, user stories, and flow diagrams, and ensure timely, cost-efficient project delivery. Strong English communication and Agile/Waterfall experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience managing complex projects across multiple domains.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with business documentation and process mapping tools (Visio, Figma).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

2. Project Planning and Process Optimization:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, workflows, and process documentation.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

3. Business Documentation Management:

Create and oversee critical business documents, including

• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Documents (FRD
• User Stories
• Process Flows and Data Flows

Ensure all documentation meets organizational standards and stakeholder expectations.

4. Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address potential risks or delays proactively.
• Act as a bridge between customers and technical teams to resolve problems effectively.

5. Problem-Solving and Customer Support:

• Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues, providing effective resolutions to maintain satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams to translate needs into actionable solutions.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Validate deliverables to ensure they meet business and functional requirements.
• Support testing and implementation phases by addressing gaps and aligning with customer needs.
