Techture is seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering based in Nagpur City, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies, collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure successful integration of BIM at all project stages. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in BIM management and a strong proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Revit, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a focus on civil engineering projects. The Senior BIM Engineer will oversee and implement BIM processes, collaborate with project teams, and ensure the successful integration of BIM into all stages of project development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to define project requirements and BIM deliverables.
• Create and manage BIM models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Coordinate and oversee clash detection and resolution processes to ensure constructability and coordination of civil elements with other disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, and libraries to optimize efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM workflows, software applications, and best practices.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, trends, and industry standards to continuously improve processes and deliverables.
• Assist in the preparation of BIM-related documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and coordination sessions to support effective communication and collaboration.

Skills Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM implementation and management, with a focus on civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in BIM software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including site development, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and interoperability between BIM and GIS platforms is a plus.
