Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior BIM Engineer/BIM Engineer specialized in Civil 3D Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a focus on infrastructure projects. This role will involve close collaboration with civil engineers, surveyors, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for success in this position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM models for infrastructure projects using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, surveyors, and other team members to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve conflicts within BIM models. (Preferably in Navisworks)
• Assist in the preparation and production of design and construction drawings and documentation from BIM models.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from BIM models.
• Support the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and Civil 3D.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate BIM-related activities as required.
• Assist in quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM models and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BIM workflows and efficiency.

Skills Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience working with BIM software, specifically Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Proficiency in BIM modeling, including creating surfaces, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, Pipe Networks, Pressure Networks & Road Corridor
• Experience in clash detection and coordination using BIM software. (Preferably Navisworks)
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BIM Execution Plan, COBie, LOD).
• Familiarity with other relevant software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit is a plus.
• Certification in BIM-related software or processes is desirable.
