Job summary

CITIC CLSA is seeking an experienced IT project professional in Pune to lead compliance technology initiatives. The role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, and coordinating across Compliance, vendors, and IT to ensure regulatory objectives are met.

The candidate will drive gap analyses, feasibility studies, and documentation, while overseeing testing, UAT, and defect management to deliver robust, compliant systems in a complex financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Business, or related disciplines.
• 9–11 years of IT project experience in financial institutions, including minimum 3 years in project management.
• Proven exposure to Compliance technology domains (COB, AML, trade surveillance, regulatory reporting).
• Working knowledge of SMARTS, LiquidMetrics, GoldTier, AxiomSL and ComplySci applications is a plus.
• Good understanding of front-to-back trading/settlement flows in Investment Bank is an advantage.
• Experience in data analysis is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Compliance stakeholders to gather requirements and design technology solutions that support regulatory and operational objectives.

• Prepare and maintain business requirement documents, test scenarios, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compliance, vendors, and internal IT to deliver technology solutions.

• Develop, coordinate, and execute UAT plans, test cases, and defect management activities.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to post-implementation support.
• Ensure solutions (in-house or vendor) comply with CLSA standards and practices.

QA Testing and ensure changes is rigorously tested before providing in UAT to users Manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities from initiation, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Ensure solutions (either in-house or vendor) comply with CLSA standards and practices
