Job summary

Desirous Global Consulting Pvt Ltd. in India seeks a Sr Automation Engineer with 4–6 years in pharma automation to lead programming, testing and commissioning of control systems.

You will select PLC/SCADA/HMI models per URS, develop I/O lists, and manage project schedules while coordinating with clients and project teams. Travel for commissioning may be required.

Qualifications

Key skills and Responsibilities:

• Programming,testing, and commissioning of control systems in industries such as pharma andfood processing
• Ability to select suitable PLC, HMI, and SCADA modelsbased on the Customer's URS
• Develop I/O Lists in accordance with P&ID and URSrequirements
• Write programming logic and manage control systemsprojects
• Maintain project schedules and ensure timely taskcompletion
• Evaluate and communicate scope changes or client updateswith project managers
• Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation wiringand troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and in a team-orientedenvironment
• Adaptability to shifting priorities, deadlines, and clientdemands
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams,and P&ID drawings
• Programming experience in .Net, VB/VB.Net, SQL/TSQL/SQL+,or other high-level languages
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, or similardesign software is a plus
• Flexibility forworking hours and readiness for travel as needed for commissioning
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal);other languages are a plus
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Prior experience inpharma equipment and process automation is mandatory
• Knowledge of functional specification and validationdocumentation is an advantage
• Involvement in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) andproject commissioning processes
