Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (India) Private Limited is seeking a Sr WHS Associate to analyze injury, illness, near-miss, and event data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings across teams.

You will own end-to-end deliverables with quality and timelines, while collaborating with the CPT and WHS Organization to drive safety improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment related field or Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • End to end ownership of their deliverables with optimum quality and adherence to timelines (SLA).
  • Communication with Internal Stakeholders within the CPT as well as larger WHS Organization.
  • Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for the CPT team who create and enhance the WHS programs.
  • Systematically elevate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.

Description

The Workplace Health and Safety Central Programs team-India (WHS CPT-IN) partners with business & program teams from WW WHS to roll out safety programs globally and ensure that Amazon provides a safe and healthy workplace to our associates, contractors, field teams, and partners. Formed in July 2018, Central Programs team specializes in subject matter expertise and program management. Sr. Associate will analyze injury, illness, near-miss, and event data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate the findings effectively across teams. An ideal associate is one who enjoys discovering and solving complicated problems, can quickly learn complex systems, likes to work with numbers, and takes pride in organizing and communicating work. A Sr WHS Associate provides timely resolution to the issue at hand by researching and querying internal tools and by taking real-time decisions. They should be able to understand the requirements and should be able to analyze data, notice trends and drive customer experience without compromising on time. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environment related field or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Experience solving complex problems quantitatively and develop actionable data-driven business recommendations
