Job summary

Genpact in India (Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram) is seeking a Sr. Associate for F&A - R2R - External Reporting. You will handle end-to-end R2R activities in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, contributing to accurate financial reporting and control.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements and exposure to global clients leveraging Genpact’s AI-driven finance solutions. Strong grounding in accounting and finance, with experience in month-end close, intercompany accounting, and SOX

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Master's in finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review team’s day-to-day activities including reconciliations, journals, reports and audit requests.
• Month End Close activities.
• Fixed Assets capitalization and maintenance.
• Intercompany accounting.
• Bank and investment reconciliations.
• General Ledger reconciliations.
• Fixed assets reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL).
• Identify balancing items and ensure clearance.
• Escheat reconciliations.
• Corporate reporting.
• Internal and external audit.
• SOX compliance.
• Identify opportunities and recommend process and automation improvements.
