You will oversee day-to-day General Accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and reporting requests, while contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. This hybrid role requires a strong foundation in accounting with a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, and professional certifications such as CFA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics, or finance.
• CFA and CPA certifications are valued.
• Experience in General Accounting and R2R processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day General Accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end close, fixed assets capitalization and maintenance, and intercompany accounting.
• Perform bank and investment reconciliations, GL and FA reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance; identify automation opportunities.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain. Review team’s day to day activities, including but not limited to Account Reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests Month End Close Activities Fixed Assets Capitalization and Maintenance Intercompany Accounting Bank and Investment Reconciliations General Ledger Reconciliations Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL) Identifying balancing items and its clearance Escheat Reconciliations Corporate Reporting Internal and External Audit SOX Compliance Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements.
