Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - R2R to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, recording, analyzing, and verifying transactions and preparing reports to support strategic decisions.

The role focuses on journal entries, AP processing, reconciliations, fixed assets, and R2R close activities, within a dynamic AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in accounting, commerce, economics or finance are required.
• Finance-focused master's degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with R2R processes and reconciliations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Book journal entries (accrual/recurring/daily) across balance sheet and P&L.
• Enter data into systems and verify accuracy.
• Process AP invoices and payments; reconcile related bank transactions.
• Review aging of AP balances and follow up on aged items.
• Close the AP module monthly and manage fixed assets accounting.

About Job Role

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the client’s financial information. The Accounting Associate is responsible for recording, analyzing, and verifying financial transactions, as well as preparing reports and financial statements that support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Book journal entries (accrual/recurring/daily transactions) for across all balance sheet & PnL category of accounts
• Enter accounting data into the system and verify its accuracy.
• Process AP Invoices and payments
• Reconcile bank transactions with the invoices processed in the preceding step.
• Review the aging of balances in the Accounts Payable module and follow up on aged items.
• Perform the monthly close of the Accounts Payable module.
• Fixed Assets accounting (Capitalization, Depreciation, Transfer, Disposal), Roll-forward Intercompany accounting & reconciliation
• Perform reconciliations across all Balance sheet categories including Bank reconciliations, on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis
• Prepare/support on financial reports (internal/external)
• Support general accounting activities such as amortization, fixed assets, financing, accruals, and other related activities.
