Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - R2R to drive core accounting operations in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment. You will oversee reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and audit support within a hybrid work setting in India.

The role focuses on month-end close, fixed assets, intercompany activities, and continuous process improvements, aligning with Genpact's transformation initiatives and SOX requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master's degree in Finance preferred.
• English language proficiency (Intermediate - B1).
• CFA/CPA/CRCM certifications enrich candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day General Accounting activities.
• Perform Month End Close: FA capitalization, intercompany accounting, GL reconciliations.
• Handle bank and investment reconciliations, asset reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and SOX related requests.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain. Review team’s day to day activities, including but not limited to Account Reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis, and other requests. Month End Close Activities: Fixed Assets Capitalization and Maintenance, Intercompany Accounting, Bank and Investment Reconciliations, General Ledger Reconciliations, Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL), Identifying balancing items and its clearance, Escheat Reconciliations, Corporate Reporting, Internal and External Audit, SOX Compliance. Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements.
