Job summary

Genpact, a leader in AI-driven digital transformation, is seeking a skilled professional for its Record to Report function in Noida (Office-based). The role covers end-to-end general accounting activities, month-end close, asset management, intercompany, and SOX compliance.

You will review reconciliations, journal entries, and audit requests while driving process improvements. The candidate should have a finance/accounting degree (CMA/CA Inter preferred) with strong Excel and ERP experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting is required or CMA/CA Inter is desirable.
• Experience in tax compliance, especially indirect taxes (VAT) and income taxes, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• IT skills with ERP systems (PeopleSoft/Workday); MS Office experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities in the General Accounting domain.
• Review daily activities: reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests, analysis.
• Execute Month End Close activities.
• Handle Fixed Assets capitalization and maintenance.
• Perform Intercompany accounting and bank/investment reconciliations.
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations and FA reconciliations.
• Identify balancing items and clearance.
• Assist Escheat reconciliations and corporate reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to General Accounting domain.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance/Accounting. CMA/ CA Inter
• Experience in tax compliance, specifically in indirect taxes (VAT) and income taxes, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• IT skills: ERP (People soft/Workday), MS Office. Preferably Peoplesoft and Workday ERP
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Graphs)
