Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Pune seeks a Lead EHS Auditor to drive corporate and site audits, review compliance, and lead incident investigations across client sites. You will monitor performance, deliver training on HIRA, JSA, SOPs, and critical activities, and play a key role in emergency preparedness and action plans.

The role requires strong audit, compliance, and risk management skills, data-driven communication, and willingness to travel extensively to support client audits and safety

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate & site EHS audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
• Monitor incidents, trends, and performance.
• Conduct site visits 1820 days month for assessments and walk-downs.
• Deliver training on HIRA, JSA, SOPs, and critical activities.
• Review leading / lagging indicators and emergency preparedness.
• Drive safety initiatives, awareness campaigns, and corporate events.
• Investigate major / fatal incidents and ensure preventive action.
• Support client / external audits and mobilization / demobilization safety.
• Connect with SBU for review meeting and improvement plan of actions.
• Lead Auditor Certification – ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Strong audit, compliance, and risk management skills.
• Data-driven, proactive, and effective communicator.
• Willing to travel extensively.
