Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a senior EHS lead to conduct and manage audits for corporate and site locations in India. You will review incidents, trends, and performance, deliver training on HIRA and JSA, and drive safety initiatives across projects.

The role requires extensive travel, strong auditing and compliance skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and SBUs to implement preventive actions and improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Strong audit and compliance background in EHS.
• Proven risk management experience with data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate & site EHS audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
• Monitor incidents, trends, and performance.
• Conduct site visits to perform assessments and walk-downs.
• Deliver training on HIRA, JSA, SOPs, and critical activities.
• Review leading and lagging indicators and emergency preparedness.
• Drive safety initiatives, awareness campaigns, and corporate events.
• Investigate major/fatal incidents and ensure preventive action.
• Support client/external audits and mobilization/demobilization safety.
• Coordinate with SBU for review meetings and action plans.
• Lead Auditor Certification – ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Data-driven, proactive, and effective communicator.
