Job summary

Consilio, Inc. is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Data Specialist in Bengaluru to independently handle complex data processing and production tasks.

You will develop expertise across multiple tools, troubleshoot advanced data issues, and mentor junior team members while contributing to process documentation and client communications. The role involves project management, QA on productions, and collaboration with IT and Product teams to test new tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• 4–6 years in E-Discovery or related IT domains.
• Experience meeting tight deadlines and unstructured situations.
• Strong feedback and performance assessment abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Windows and basic PC functions.
• Familiarity with databases, networking, and file systems.
• Experience with SQL, VB Script, Reg-Ex, XML parsing, and MS Office.
• Power BI/Tableau, Excel Power Query, Python scripting, NoSQL knowledge.
• Understanding encryption, data security, and governance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and learn proprietary software.

1. Independently handle complex data processing and eDiscovery production tasks.

12. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions within the team on specific eDiscovery topics.

13. Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as productivity and quality.

14. Assist in evaluating new technologies and methodologies for potential adoption.

15. Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

16. Stay abreast of legal and technological developments in the eDiscovery field and share insights with the team.

17. Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures.

18. Assist in training and onboarding new team members.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred, preferably in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, etc.)
• 3-6 years of related E-Discovery or related IT domains
• Experience working under tight deadlines and unstructured situations
• Ability to assess team members and provide timely feedback (positive/negative) on performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of basic PC functions and Windows environment (e.g., MS Office)
• Knowledge of general database, networking, and file-systems concepts
• Experience with several of the following is preferred: SQL, Visual Basic/VB Script, Reg-Ex & Pattern matching, XML parsing, and MS-Office
• Following skillsets too are being sought after: Power BI/Tableau, Excel Power Query, simple Python/Shell scripting, basic NoSQL knowledge
• Exposure to following concepts: Encryption, Data Security, Compliance & Governance
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and learn customized proprietary software
