Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Execute production runs in different actuarial models to support reporting for Cash Flow Testing, Embedded Value, GAAP, Statutory reserves, Risk Based Capital, Economic Capital, and Asset Liability Management.
• Execute production runs for actuarial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production processes, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain and update documentation related to production processes and model runs.
• Provide support and training to team members on production processes and tools as needed.
• Ensure that all actuarial processes include appropriate controls and comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools such as Python to enhance efficiency, accuracy, scalability and control.
• Use approved AI tools in day-to-day activities to support analysis, documentation, quality checks and stakeholder communication, with appropriate human review.
• Identify, assess and deliver opportunities to automate or transform business-as-usual activities using AI, reducing manual effort, improving turnaround times and strengthening process quality.
• Actively engage with business partners across the organization to improve our production processes.
• Key contributor on making overall modelling work Agile.

Required Skills

• Ability to handle tools and software to initiate set-up and execute runs.
• Ability to find solutions within agreed timescales.
• Excellent ability to communicate in English, (both written and verbal).
• Good business acumen.

Advantageous skills and experience

• An understanding of actuarial reporting software such as Prophet, Polysystems.
• Knowledge of other modelling platforms including MG ALFA, MoSes, Pathwise.
